Update for the Week of August 30th, 2010

Girls and Guys,

I'm back!! Was not on vacation just moved to another job for a week. The Dixie Classic Fair had a judging that had to be down early and I have been involved with it for 20 + years and enjoy doing it. But back to earth and Sewingly Yours.

What a wonderful event with Sue Hausmann !! We had about 120 girls and guys here to enjoy the day. You could get your picture taken with Sue. We have a few of you that didn't pick up your picture. We have them here in the store, so come on in and pick them up. If you wanted any product from the show, we will have it available through tomorrow, Monday, August 30th. Our hours tomorrow are 10am - 8pm, just give us a call or drop by. The machines will be on sale through Friday, September 3rd. We have 12 months and 18 months financing with no interest!!

Thank each and everyone of you that attended the Sue Hausmann Event!! I hope you had a great time!! We enjoy setting these events up for you all.

Monday, August 30th - Serger Club - 10am or 6pm Bring your serger, 4 spools
of white or beige thread. You will be making a thread catcher. If you have
any material that you would like to use, you will need 1/2 yard plus 1 fat
quarter. Anything else that you will need, we have here at the store.
Teresa and Rebecca will be doing the club.

Day and Night Quilt continues at 10am or 6pm

Tuesday, August 31st - Beginning Quilting and Professional Tote continue
at 6pm.

Wednesday, September 1st - Debra Bohn will be teaching on the 4D software
lettering, monograms and fonts. Learn how to make quilt labels, and use
different line shapes and lettering. 10am - 12pm, 5:30pm - 7:30pm.
Give us a call and let us know if you are coming. Some of you have

Thursday, and Friday, Sept. 2nd and 3rd - Sit 'N Sew

Saturday, Sept. 4th - DuctTape Double - 10am - 1pm Taught by Sally Baker
and Rebecca Allen. Cost is $50 You can go to Wal Mart and get your
DuctTape - You can pick from all colors - Get at least 4 or 5 rolls, if you
have too much you can take it back. Yes, we mean DUCT tape. Learn
the right way to wrap duct tape on your body to make a dress form. Just
think - you will be able to fit a pattern to your body! This class is a hoot
for everybody! We have taken this class and it really works! You will
need an old T-shirt that is long on you to get taped in. Call and sign up
for this fun class!!
