Updates for the week of Jan 24th.

Girls and Guys,

Monday, Jan 24th is serger club!! 10am or 6pm The girls
will be teaching you some new techniques and making
a Jewerly Case. Kits will be provided for you. The
cost of the kit will not be that much. You will need to
bring cream or white serger thread. If it begins to
snow or sleet, please call before you come!!

All other classes that have begun will continue this week unless the weather is bad!! Please call before you come!!

If classes are called off, they will be re-scheduled!!

If in doubt, please call.

Reminder of the challenge fabric to be picked up for you to enter the special event ART SHOW in April!! You can do anything with the material that you are given and put it in the art show. Prizes will be given in each catagory!! Come on in and pick up your free fabric. Your completed project has to be turned in by March 26th at 1pm.

The Serge and Merge Quilt by Nancy Zeman books are in the store for you girls.

The Special Event with Lucille Amos doing the Japanese Fan Quilt will be Friday and Saturday, Feb 18th and 19th with lunch included will be $75.00. Time is 10am - 4pm each day. A picture of the quilt is at the top of this post. Call and sign up now for this great adventure!!

Saturday, Jan 29th - Felted Beret with Judy Barnier -
10am - 1pm - cost $30.00 - Great cutwork - decorate
anyway that you want!

Sewing Machine Obedience School - $60.00 - 10am -
1pm This class is only for learning about that
sewing machine, feet, bring manuals and come
on in. Call and sign up now - spaces available.

Weather Update

Girls and Guys,


Looks like we are in for some bad weather coming up! You that are in the Desert Sky Quilt Class - we were suspose to meet on Tuesday, Jan 11th for the workshop before the class on Saturday, Jan. 15th. We are changing that date to Thursday, Jan 13th at 11am or 6pm to be on the safe side for the workshop!!

On Thursday, Jan. 13th, Cathy Hutchins will be doing the Embroidery Workshop at 10am or 6pm. You will need to bring a sweatshirt, a design and you will be taught how to hoop and placement. Any brand of embroidery machine is welcome. Cathy said that if there is any snow on the ground she will not be able to come. If you have a chance to call and let us know if you can attend. If you don't have a chance, just come on anyway!!

Do not venture out until you know if we are open or not. We want everyone to be safe and not take any chances.

Monday, Jan. 10th - Patty McKenzie is suppose to have the Newport Tote Class at 6pm. If the weather is bad, it will be cancelled and rescheduled. Call before you come!!
